Have you ever worked really hard for something but you got the complete opposite result of what you expected? Maybe you were trying to bake a cake but instead of it being all fluffy and delicious it turned out hard and dry or perhaps you prepared really hard for a test but instead of receiving a great grade you went below average. It happens to everyone. You work hard but things don't turn out how you expect them to. All of us would have different opinions about this situation. Some of us may think: “it’s okay, I’ll get it next time” or “third time’s a charm”! But others may think: “I worked so hard but it was no use” or “this isn't my cup of tea". And sometimes not being successful can make that task a fear.
The fruit of your own hard work is the sweetest. We don’t always get the fruit easily. But why? Is it because we didn’t work hard enough?
If you have ever been strawberry picking you would know that the farm has rows and rows of strawberry plants. Sometimes the sign outside the farm says “Strawberry Picking” and sometimes the sign says “Organic Strawberry Picking”. The difference: one word- organic. But the hard work needed in being able to put that one extra word on the board is unimaginable. The farmer could have easily put fertilizers and pesticides in his crops but he didn’t. He took up the challenge of taking care of his crops without chemical help. Even if the organic farm did not succeed the first few times, both the farms produced strawberries eventually. One had to work much harder than the other. In turn, his fruit was that much sweeter.
So, the amount of hard work we have to do will sometimes be a lot more work then we expect. Realizing that some things take longer than others is the key. You do your work right, success will come to you.
I’m trying, you're trying, we’re trying. We’re trying to pay our bills, we’re trying to reach new heights, we’re trying to live our lives. So keep on trying, because one day you’re sure to touch the stars:)
Amazing✨✨
